USSSA Big League Dreams Tourney

The Colt 45's are playing in the USSSA tournament held at Big League Dreams in Mansfield on May 29-31.

The Colts will face the North Texas Longhorns at 4pm and the Midland Steele's 00 at 6pm on Sunday.

Kaufman Tourney Champs!

The Colts played well and went undefeated through the Kaufman Super Series tournament.

Congrats to the players on a well earned victory.

Kaufman Super Series Tournament

The Colt 45's are traveling to Kaufman to play in a Super Series tourney this weekend. Brackets should be posted at the American Sporting Events website in the next couple of days.

Update:
The Colts will play the Sulphur Springs Heat at 3pm and the Mesquite Cubs at 6:30pm on Saturday.

Car Wash Fund Raiser

The Colt 45's will host a team car wash fund raiser this Saturday from 10-2 at Don's Car Wash in Longview [map]. This is a TEAM event and we need all players and parents there to help.

Trent Kyles

The Colt 45's mourn the passing of a former player on May 9th. Trent "Tonto" Kyles played for the Colts during the Fall of 2005 and 2006. Tonto was a great player and teammate who will be missed. The Colt 45's are retiring Tonto's jersey number 11 in his honor.

Texas Ranger Youth Ballpark

The Colts had a fantastic weekend in Arlington. Despite playing good baseball, the team was eliminated in pool play with a 1-1-1 record. However, playing on the Dr. Pepper field against good competition was a treat. The Colts also had fun touring the Ranger Ballpark including the club house and dugout.

Finally, the Colts demonstrated how much they care about others by contributing to the Rangers Operation Backpack Program which provides school supplies for needy children.
