North Texas Season Opener

The Colt 45's are playing in the Triple Crown North Texas Season Opener on May 3-4 in the Dallas Metroplex.

In 2011, the tournament featured 227 Teams and a big turnout is expected again this year.

Longview Super Series Tourney

The Colt 45's are playing in the Longview Super Series "Put Me In Coach" tournament on April 30-May 1st.

The Colts will face the Nitros at 12:00pm and the ET Vipers at 1:45pm on Saturday. Both games are at McWhorter Park, Bill Owens Field.

Pool play game times for the Triple Crown Metroplex Season Opener have been posted.

The Colts will face the Southlake Dragons at 8am and the Dallas Tigers (Krowka) at 10am on Saturday. Games will be at Oak Grove Park, 2520 Oak Grove Loop S., Grapevine, TX [map].

Nacogdoches Tournament Champs

The Colt 45's played well in their first tournament of the spring. They were able to win the championship with a thrilling come-from-behind, extra-innnigs, victory over the Diamond Jaxx 5-4.

UPDATE: The Colts will face the Tyler Mustangs at 5pm and the East Texas Patriots at 6:45pm during pool play on Saturday.

Car Wash Fund Raiser

Trent Kyles

The Colt 45's mourn the passing of a former player on May 9th. Trent "Tonto" Kyles played for the Colts during the Fall of 2005 and 2006. Tonto was a great player and teammate who will be missed. The Colt 45's are retiring Tonto's jersey number 11 in his honor.

Texas Ranger Youth Ballpark

The Colts had a fantastic weekend in Arlington. Despite playing good baseball, the team was eliminated in pool play with a 1-1-1 record. However, playing on the Dr. Pepper field against good competition was a treat. The Colts also had fun touring the Ranger Ballpark including the club house and dugout.

The Colts are playing at the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark this weekend!

Fourteen teams have registered to play in the 10U tournament with all games being played on the Rangers replica ballpark.

The Colts will play the San Antonio Wildcats at 8:40am and the Aurora Sooners at 5pm on Saturday. The Colts will then face the North Texas Bulldogs at 11:30am on Sunday.

The Colts played fantastic baseball over the weekend. They posted a 4-0 record and, in fact, out scored their opponents 35-1.

The Colts also dominated the skills competition with Grant taking the home run hitting award, Daniel taking the base running award, and Matt taking the throwing accuracy award. Congrats to Grant who got his second home run of the year in the championship game!

Sherman Tournament

The Colt 45's will play in the Sherman Super Series Tournament on April 24-25. Currently, there are several teams registered to play.

The tournament will also include a skills competition for the kids.
